Tell us about yourself

I’m Rob, born and raised in Blackpool, and I’m the founder of Ticketi.

What does Ticketi do?

We’re bringing to market what we call a direct-to-fan platform. In a nutshell, it’s all about understanding fan data so we can better connect artists with their fan base. We use that data to help plan and deliver better gigs alongside event organisers.

Our unique selling point—or the “gold,” as we call it—is using AI and machine learning to identify who the genuine fans are. We then distribute an option to buy tickets directly to those fans, straight to their inbox.

How are you looking to develop your business?

We’re launching on the 16th of May and are putting on a few events ourselves to break into the market. But moving forward, we’re really keen to collaborate with event organisers—whether that’s artists, artist management companies, promoters, venues—anyone with a passion for protecting the industry and offering a safer ticketing experience for music fans.

Who in our community are you looking to collaborate with?

Mental health is also something really personal to me. There’s a backstory to our brand around how music has supported people with mental health challenges. So, if you’re in that space—or in the live music space in general—let’s have a conversation.
