Lab space
We have a variety of wet and dry lab spaces. Each space is fully customisable and our wet lab spaces come with a dedicated write-up area.
We have both wet and dry lab spaces available ranging from 782 – 1716 sqft.
Our labs also include access to the following in our shared equipment area:
- Deionised water
- Laboratory dishwasher
- Benchtop autoclave
- Ice machine
- -80°C freezer
- Drying oven
- Access controlled stores for gases and waste
- Washing machine and dryer for laundering lab coats

Home to the Northern Cell Metrology Lab
Nexus is home to the The National Measurement Laboratory at LGC’s Northern Cell Metrology Hub – a centre of innovation for clinical diagnostics and medical technology.
The hub supports health and life science industries achieve safe, reliable and productive solutions through innovative technology and focuses on the standardisation of cell measurements, using flow cytometry and bio-imaging techniques, for analysis of single cells.

As part of you lab membership you’ll also have access to several dynamic co-working spaces. These include the members-only Business lounge and a large collaboration space on the first floor.
We also have an onsite café which is a contemporary space to work and unwind.
Our resident packages are designed for Nexus members who need space and a base from which to grow.
