The role
Working for Nexus Leeds Limited, you will have ownership of the Anti-Money Laundering Regulation (AMLR) processes including the regular review, compliance with legislation & due diligence checks for our new and existing members. You will work closely with Management & the Nexus Business Engagement Team to ensure compliance of our memberships.

Facilities & Accounts Manager.
Location
Leeds City Centre, part-time, with the some flexible working available.
Salary
Part-Time 22.5 hours a week (3 full days or spread through the week).
Full time salary £27,000 – £28,500 (pro rata to 22.5 hours a week).
Roles and responsibilities
- Take ownership of the AMLR policies & procedures at Nexus, ensuring we are compliant with current legislation and escalating issues when necessary.
- Be responsible for, conducting customer due diligence by collecting the relevant information from potential and existing members by using our anti money laundering platform Smart Search, Companies House and other relevant sites.
- Ensure all information collected is inputted correctly into our CRM system (Dynamics 35).
- Provide training updates for the wider team with respect to both their shared & individual responsibilities regarding MLR. This includes the training of a nominated deputy to cover absences in the function.
- Attend Collaboration meetings to keep the team up-to-date with members due diligence.
- Provide cover on Reception when required.
- Any other reasonable duties requested of you by Management.
- Proactively identify and undertake appropriate training and personal development opportunities.
- Proactively make suggestions for change and improvement of services throughout the organisation.
- Be flexible to assist with events outside of Nexus Leeds Ltd core trading hours.
- Play a demonstrative part in the success of the company by being an enthusiastic contributor to the Nexus mission and vision.
- Ensure that the fabric of the building and building cleanliness is of the highest standard possible by actively addressing issues and/or highlighting these and areas for improvement.
- Ensure value for money and compliance with good practice procurement guidelines in respect of the procurement of all goods and services in line with the company’s financial procedure.
- Recommend value-added, customer-focused services for resident Members
- Implement and maintain efficient filing systems and procedures applicable to your role. Always maintain a proficient and tidy working environment that enables a seamless continuation of service levels in your absence where appropriate.
- Undertake project work as allocated from time to time.
- Always provide support and backup for your colleagues.
- Promote the Help Desk email function – ensuring that all works assigned to you are appropriately logged on the Help Desk system and that any works allocated to you are completed in a timely and professional manner.
- Devise methods of communication that ensure your colleagues are fully aware of your activities, timescales, whereabouts etc.
- Take reasonable precautions in ensuring the health and safety of yourself, your staff (where applicable), your colleagues, Members, contractors, and visitors.
