Professor Julian Braybrook, UK Government Chemist and Director of Measurement Science at the National Measurement Laboratory (NML), visited Nexus at the University of Leeds yesterday in the first step towards a long term strategic partnership.

Professor Braybrook signed a Memorandum of Understanding between NML, the University of Leeds and Nexus which will see the NML establish a hub at Nexus to support industry, academic and clinical partners across the Leeds City Region in high quality measurement procedures. The long term vision, set out in the agreement, is to create a centre of excellence for metrology in clinical sciences for the North of England, based at the University of Leeds.
