Tell us about yourself
So I’m Amanda Haigh, I’m founder of UkindXR. UkindXR is a trauma informed virtual reality AI therapy that is supporting people who have gone through trauma and domestic abuse.
What does UKindTherapy do?
So we’re working in refuges, we’re working in frontline services and we’re working with ex-addicts. And our software, it doesn’t replace therapy, but it works with real time therapy. So it’s an intro into therapy and then you get your 8 to 10 weeks therapy and then our software picks up again at the end of therapy. Because what we found is a lot of the survivors are quite anxious when their real therapy ends. So it’s a continuum of care for survivors.
How are you looking to develop your business?
So we’re looking to develop it through working with private healthcare organisations, through the NHS, through frontline services that provide crisis help and support.
Who in our community are you looking to collaborate with?
So we’re looking to scale with healthtech and AI innovators who are doing similar things or similar work. And we’re also looking to collaborate with other entrepreneurs that are working in a similar field. And we’re looking to scale globally. So if that is something that you’re interested in, please get in touch with us. We’d love to hear from you.
