So I’m Kelly Hobson, Managing Director of Shape Tomorrow, who who’s just joined the Nexus community. We are very much a niche consultancy, so a boutique consultancy led by sustainability.

What does Shape Tomorrow do?

We work a lot around sustainability with sustainability leads and embedding different approaches within their businesses. We work with retailers and manufacturers on their sustainability journey and we work across a lot of areas within supply chain. We look at carbon accounting, we look at how to commercialise sustainability strategy and we’re very much around building the knowledge gap. So understanding where the gaps are within industry and working to collaborate to understand then where we can quicken pace of change, which is all about change management and areas that we are experts in.

How are you looking to develop your business?

Lots of reasons at the moment in terms of sustainability needs to progress quicker. That looks at AI and it looks at knowledge gaps and we’re scaling in terms of building cross vertical knowledge and collaboration. The interesting part is in terms of our events and then how we accelerate change within Academy, within knowledge, within collaboration. Our particular interest is in AI adoption and application at the moment. And that’s where we think we can scale and also work with other companies because AI is obviously a solution driver and there’s lots of knowledge gaps that we’re recognising where potentially ESG platforms can deliver as we then escalate and begin to scale and grow other businesses.

Who in our community are you looking to collaborate with?

Collaboration for us at the moment, specifically around the Nexus community is tech driven. We’re talking to a lot of companies who either understand there’s gaps and they’re looking for solutions and we can see how that looks. And also specifically AI adoption, I think there is a tremendous partnership that can happen between sustainability, adoption, execution and development. And those are the types of conversations that we’re looking to have.
