We run a number of accelerator programmes with a variety of partners across the region and beyond.

We’re proud to work on the Innovative Entrepreneurs programme with Impact Hub Bradford, alongside other partners. It’s great to see them getting royal attention.

Programme name: Innovative Entrepreneurs Programme
About the programme: The Innovative Entrepreneurs programme is a 9-month initiative funded by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, aimed at helping individuals turn innovative ideas into high-impact, profitable businesses that drive positive change within West Yorkshire and beyond.
Delivered by a consortium of regional partners, led by the University of Leeds, the programme focuses on supporting individuals in developing groundbreaking solutions to local, national, and global challenges. It offers intensive, targeted support to those with the potential to become successful entrepreneurs and build sustainable, innovative businesses.
- Individuals aged 18 or over
- Residents of West Yorkshire OR owners of start-up businesses located in West Yorkshire
- Those with innovative ideas for products or services that tackle global issues
- People comfortable with taking risks and motivated to design, develop, and pitch their ideas
- Individuals from underrepresented groups, including women, ethnic minorities, and those with disabilities
- In-person and online learning sessions
- One-to-one coaching and group mentoring sessions
- Workshops and networking events
- Investor readiness support and mentoring
- Access to 12 months of co-working office space
- Opportunity to win £5,000 in grant funding
- Express your interest by completing the contact form on the West Yorkshire Business and Skills Support website.
- A member of the programme team will reach out to discuss the programme and assess if it aligns with your needs.
- If you are considered suitable for the programme, the team will extend an invitation and assist with the application process
- If the programme isn’t a match, the team will guide you toward other relevant opportunities and support.
